Geia sas!
My name is Eleni, I came from Greece and I'm passionate with applied arts and traveling. I really love the things I do to make sense and make as well the life of people around me more practical but also aesthetic. I have my own small business in which I create personalized gifts like designs on mugs, bookmakers, stickers and also fix gifts as jenga for friends and couples, jars with dating ideas and so on. I like to do bazaars where I can provide my work, participate in programs that can upgrade my skills such us Erasmus+, seminars, volunteering and solidarity works and getting meet other people which we can exchange our passions and ideas.
I've finished my studies on graphics and I've been working mainly as a packaging designer for a company in Thessaloniki, called Siakkas Form. My daily life as a packaging designer was to communicate with our clients, understanding their needs and finding solutions for their problems. Except this I had to recreate boxes or design totally new ones by using the program "Impact" and of course check if they work by printing examples on our plotters. At least but not last, I was creating dieboards / cutting forms with the montage of the final product for the canneries. Finally I was creating and cutting on a laser the rubbers for the dieboards.
Before packaging designer I was working also as an illustrator (remotely) for a small greek publisher called Orion. There I started to be more comfortable by using digital art. That was really exiting for me! We published few books with my art design and some with my works only in covers.
Some smaller experiences during my internship job in a photo studio and in creative office where I've learnt more practical things about printing, photography and working better on photoshop.
